Vyvid (“we”, “us”) provides an AI fitness coaching app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: p78557sfgd@privaterelay.appleid.com.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, used to create and secure your account.
- Profile & fitness data you provide: age, sex, height, weight, goals, training and nutrition preferences, workouts, meals, and check-ins.
- Health data from Apple Health (with your permission): heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, steps, and active energy. This is read only and used solely to calculate your recovery and personalize training. We never use Health data for advertising and never share it with third parties for advertising or data-mining.
- Photos you add: progress photos and food photos you choose to upload, used to provide the app’s features (e.g., estimating macros from a meal photo).
- Subscription status: whether you have an active subscription, provided through Apple and our subscription provider (RevenueCat).
How we use your information
- To provide the app’s features: training programs, readiness-adaptive workouts, nutrition targets, meal plans, food logging, and AI coaching.
- To operate your account and manage subscriptions.
- To improve the reliability of the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
AI features and third-party AI processing
Vyvid’s coaching, program generation, meal planning, and photo macro estimation are powered by Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI model. When you use one of these features, Vyvid sends the information needed to generate a response — which may include your profile (age, sex, height, weight, goals), your training and nutrition data, the message you type, or the food photo you provide — to Anthropic’s API.
Anthropic processes this data solely to generate the response and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models. Anthropic provides protections for this data comparable to those described in this policy. You can review Anthropic’s privacy practices at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Vyvid asks for your consent inside the app before sending any data to Anthropic for the first time. If you decline, AI features remain unavailable until you agree.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored with our backend provider (Supabase) under access controls that restrict each account to its own data.
Data retention & deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing p78557sfgd@privaterelay.appleid.com. We will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Your choices
- You can revoke Apple Health access at any time in the iOS Health app.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
Children
Vyvid is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
